You arrived in our lives 7 years ago as a tiny bundle of mischievous brown fur and you left us on the 15th August and broke our hearts. Through the years you have fallen out of the window, disappeared for 11 days, chased your sisters and had a disagreement with a car, to name but a few. We've kept you safe, we've walked miles looking for you, we've let you in, let you out, but always kept you safe. You were by far the most handsomest boy with soft shiny fur, an enormous fluffy tail and huge amber eyes. You slept in the sink, on the linen hamper, in the wardrobe and on the bed. You would greet us at the door whenever we came home and then go out for a walk. You ate almost continuously, much to the vets dismay on your yearly checkup!!!
So we said goodbye to you on the 28th July and went on holiday, and we didn't know that we would never see you alive again. So now you don't greet us at the door when we come home, we don't hear the sound of your bell, we don't see your happy face as you bring us presents, and we don't hear you purring contentedly as you curl up next to us on the bed. Oh George, our beautiful big soft brown boy, if only you knew how much we miss you. Our big regret that you crossed the Rainbow Bridge alone....... We will always love you and never stop thinking about you and wishing you were here. Sleep tight my boy. xxxx

So its the 17th November and I'm looking at your picture and I can't tell you how much I miss you. I still look for you, I listen for your bell but all there is, is silence. I still can't accept that you were taken from us, when you had so many more adventures to have. I cry now quietly when I think of you and if I could have just one wish, it would be for you to come back to me. I love you my darling precious boy xxxxx
