There is always one pet which stands out from the rest. The pet that you love just that little bit more than the others. Pippa was and will always be that special one to me.
When we first brought her home she was absolutely terrified of men, which leads us to believe she was ill treated at some point. I find it hard to believe that anyone could ill treat any animal, let alone one as small as Pip.
Over the years, and with plenty of love and attention, she became a little bit more outgoing, but she was always frightened of her own shadow! She used to follow me around constantly and was known affectionately amongst the family as my shadow. She even slept under the duvet with me!
We only had you with us 10 years Pip but in that time you brought me more love than I've ever had and the world is a darker place for me now you've gone.
I like to think you're up there running round & playing games with Aunty Gill.
I'll never forget you my baby girl and I know we will meet again, so until then take care and be happy my special little girl.
